Is it time for a new iPod?
I have the iPod Touch 2 Generation 8 Gig.
This morning, i was on Pandora Radio, and it froze. I took it off my iHome, and it stayed on Pandora, even after I pressed the home key. It was frozen for a while on my home page and then the little loading/shutting down icon came up on the home screen. This has never happened before. Then it turned off and turned back on 5 seconds later. It took FOREVER to turn on. This whole thing happened in about 15 minutes. Is it time to retire Gretchen (thats what I call my iPod) (:
No, don’t panic and rush to buy a new ipod yet…Try resetting the ipod, then if that fails to normalize things then restore the device, now if that fails get it checked out via the apple store (techs) and if they can’t fix it well then it’s may not be a bad idea to get the new ipod.
Hopefully you will still get another couple-few years of use for you. Of course if you have the money you can have both too
